Participatory Budget Proposal 2024

CUNA is excited to announce a series of community-driven projects as part of our participatory budgeting initiative in Valley West and North Arcata! These projects include a vibrant Tianguis-style flea market at Carlson Park, new amenities like a park bench and a recycled plastic message kiosk, and creative initiatives such as mural painting, mask-making workshops, and Maker's Apron sustainable crafting sessions. Additionally, we’ll be hosting community events like extreme dance therapy, open mic nights, and teen meetups. These projects aim to enhance community connection, creativity, and well-being.
